West Song Farm is a burgeoning, multi-use farm founded by two career musicians who are passionate about sustainable growing, farm-to-table dining, music and art. Only 75 minutes from NYC our farmhouse is the perfect jumping-off point for exploring the Hudson Valley. The space Built in 1804, our historic farmstead home has been meticulously cared-for and recently renovated, offering modern functionality and convenience while preserving American craftsmanship and charm. Exposed beams throughout the home and original hand-hewn double wide floor boards will transport you to a different time. With modern heating and cooling added, you can truly relax in this charming and peaceful setting. Our updated eat-in-kitchen has been fully outfitted for guests passionate about their cooking. As an added amenity we also offer private chef services catered by our farm manager and owner, who is an accomplished chef. Our specialty is creating a personalized dining experience with open-fire, outdoor farm-to-table dinners. We source all our ingredients from local land and livestock farmers, including our own. First Floor Enter the home into the spacious, double living area with exposed beams, hardwood floors and accented by mindfully selected furniture and art. In the music room you can enjoy full access to the piano and guitars. They are not just decor -- jam all you want! In the other living area enjoy our smart tv. There is a powder room/laundry room just off the kitchen. The sun-drenched eat-in-kitchen is outfitted with all the basics you will need to make fabulous meals or just relax with your morning tea or coffee. The sliding glass door opens out to your private patio with a gas grill, shaded seating, and fire pit, all surrounded by spectacular landscaping and sweeping views. Walk down the steps off the patio to a football field-sized private lawn where you can enjoy our furnished lawn games. There is a primary king bedroom with en-suite shower/bath on the ground floor featuring exposed beams, a second fireplace and flowers peeking through every window. Second Floor Climb the stairs and truly transport yourself to a different time. This floor oozes charm and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A second primary king bedroom features an en-suite bathroom with shower and unique 4-poster bed. There is a second extra-large king bedroom and a queen bedroom with walk-in closet. All bedrooms feature new, high-end mattresses and premium quality sheets, blankets and pillows. Enjoy a long bath in our vintage clawfoot tub in the upstairs shared bathroom. Our dedicated yoga/workout room is fully supplied with yoga mats, blocks and straps, and a turbine rowing machine all for your convenience. The Property Enjoy all that our farm has to offer: 18 manicured acres of rolling fields, lined with hickory trees and weeping willows. Bird-watchers will be entranced all day long. Our guests are welcome to wander throughout the property, watching our small team of owner/growers harvest our organic produce by hand.
