Creekside Forest Nature Retreat : Mongolian Yurt

Wake up to birds singing! Enjoy 55 private, peaceful acres with abundant forest wildlife. Hawks, owls, deer and more! Our Mongolian-style yurt is 200 sq. feet with a full bed, solar shower(summer), pop-up private flushing poddie, hammock, fan, lights, wood stove (winter), grill and fire pit. Optional packages include, Farm to table Cornish Hen dinner delivered ($44), S'mores $12, extra firewood ($10), one hour farm tour ($49) which includes feeding cows, holding chickens and visiting our apiary. The space We have everything you need to relax! Head over the swinging bridge to your yurt and enjoy the peaceful mornings with birds singing outside your yurt. Tea and ground coffee with French press are available to you. There is a wood-burning stove inside of your yurt as well as a back up propane heater. If you have more than two people, we can provide futons- just let us know! Relax at night by the creek and make a bonfire and sip provided hot cocoa. Swing in the hammock and watch the forest come alive around you! Guest access You have complete forest access and a walking trail around the nine-acre field surrounded by 20 acres of forest! I would highly recommend Milburn Orchards- right around the corner. SO MUCH TO DO! Also, Lums Pond has a ropes course, boating and more. Fair Hill racetrack and hiking are a five minute drive away. Winterthur Museum and Longwood Gardens are about 30 minutes away! Other things to note Cornish hen dinners and farm tours are available March thru December.
