Welcome to the Pigeonnier, Old farmhouse of character of the Périgord Noir that will welcome you in a green setting within a peaceful and charming hamlet near Belvès, a medieval city classified among the most beautiful villages in France. You will enjoy a magnificent swimming pool with a small children's pool and its shaded terraces. The cottage and its pool will be exclusively reserved for you and are not overlooked. The space The Pigeonnier gîte is an old stone farmhouse. It opens onto a square courtyard to the south and a shaded terrace to the north. The cottage perfectly combines the new and the old to offer you a comfortable experience in a charming building. The cottage is composed on the ground floor of a fully equipped modern kitchen and laundry room and a large living room with terrace access. On the first floor you will have 3 bedrooms with 160 double beds and a modern bathroom with walk-in shower. On the second floor you will enjoy a large open living room with a sofa area and a large screen coupled with a DVD player and a Chromecast allowing you to project your digital content. There is also an extra 140 double bed. We can install one or two single beds if necessary. This living room/dormitory is extended by a "suite" consisting of a large bedroom and its bathroom which can be private or not. We can also lend you one or more cribs. The cottage is fully equipped: 5-burner stove, microwave, oven, gas grill on the terrace, barbecue, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board/iron, Wi-Fi etc. You will stay 2 kilometers from the center of Belvès, a magnificent medieval city officially classified among the "Most Beautiful Villages of France". The village with stunning views of the Nauze Valley offers all the necessary amenities: local producers' shop, small supermarket, greengrocer, butcher, bakery, restaurants, bars, tobacco, pharmacy, post office, wine cellar, tourist office etc. The Pigeonnier gîte is ideally located in the heart of the Périgord Noir. It is located close to iconic villages and castles of the region (Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, Beynac-et-Cazenac, Monpazier etc.) and 20 km south of Sarlat, this city is a must-see for its gastronomy and history. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cottage. The cottage and its pool will be exclusively reserved for you. Other things to note The pool measures 12 meters by 6; it is equipped with safety alarms. The pool is not heated because it is too large and has an infinity edge. The pool is open from mid-May to September inclusive. The cottage stays naturally cool all summer. Small additional accuracy, we hear the singing of the chickens from the neighboring organic farm but it never bothered anyone, quite the contrary! And so we offer you good organic eggs upon arrival!
