Basement Studio Apartment

Enjoy easy access to almost anything from this centrally located home. Our home is a one bed, one bath studio apartment, located on the ground level. With its own separate entrance off to the side to offer as much privacy as you’d like. It accommodates two people comfortably (one king sized bed) but also includes a sofa futon that lays down if accommodation for one more is needed. A short drive to New River Gorge National Park and within minutes of great restaurants. 13 miles to Winterplace The space BASEMENT APARTMENT. Spacious one bedroom, one bathroom space that is half above and half below ground. Open living room and kitchen concept with a hallway leading into the open bedroom. Household Noise & Pet Disclosure To help ensure there are no surprises during your stay, please note that this is a basement apartment located beneath our family’s primary residence. I live upstairs with my son, two cats, and one dog. While we make every effort to be respectful of our guests, you may occasionally hear normal household sounds. If you are looking for a completely silent environment, this property may not be the best fit. However, if you are comfortable with the normal sounds of a family home, we would love to host you and do our best to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Guest access Full access to the kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom. There is a small yard in the back which is also accessible from the front door. Other things to note There is free parking on site, you will have two gravel spots available. There is also on street parking (please reach out prior if you need parking for more than two vehicles) When accessing the unit from the parking spot there is wooden walkway leading down a flight of stairs which can potentially get slippery when it rains and during the winter. We gladly welcome pets, we just ask that you pick up after your furry friend and dispose of it properly. We have a pup of our own and he is leashed any time he's outside. Air Conditioning is available, but it is on a thermostat upstairs. If the temperature is for some reason to uncomfortable please message me and I will adjust the thermostat upstairs. I try to maintain a steady temperature, but sometimes it just needs a little tweak. Baseboard heat is available if necessary.
