Cozy Lake View Cottage at Badin Shores Resort

Welcome to our cozy cottage at Badin Shores Resort! Our house is on a peaceful street within this gated resort with beautiful views of Badin Lake from the deck and spacious screened-in porch perfect for sunsets and rainy days. Our guests will be able to enjoy all amenities provided at the resort (listed below). Need more space ask about our property next door. There are several attractions around this area including:Uwharrie National Forest, NC Zoo, Gold Mines, Drive in theater, Boat rentals etc The space Our spacious house includes: two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, dining area, kitchen with bar seating, screened in porch, deck, and fenced in yard. This house is cozy and has a great open concept in living areas. The first bedroom is a king room with sliding door access to the screened in porch. The second bedroom is a bunk room with both bunks having full sized beds. Both rooms are big enough to fit a pack-n-play. We do have a stacked washer and dryer for doing laundry in the house and there is a laundry mat also located next to the pool. This neighborhood is all park model homes and permanent campers as you will see in the pictures. Perfect little lake community. Guest access Badin Shores Resort has the following amenities during your stay: Resort Pool with kiddie pool area (pool wristbands will be provided at check in, if lost there will be a $25 fee per wrist band)(open Memorial Day through Labor Day) Horse Shoe Putt Putt (bring your own putter and ball) Remote Racecar Track Sand Volleyball Court Basketball Courts (2) Beach Area Playgrounds (3) Marina (guests are welcome to bring their own personal watercrafts but the security gate will charge you a $50 guest entry fee. There are two parking lots that you can park your vehicle/boat and trailer at, they are 72 hour lots. So if your stay is longer than that, you should move your vehicle to the other lot to avoid a ticket). Fishing Pier (you must purchase NC fishing license, there is no fishing allowed at beach or on boardwalk, only at the pier) Lake Boardwalk to enjoy evening strolls of the sunset Joeys restaurant Local food trucks Anyone over the age of 16 will need to provide guard gate with valid IDs, please provide names of all individuals that will be staying upon check in that are over the age of 16 so we can have added to guard gate list for ease of your arrival. Other things to note We can provide pack-n-play, child cabinet safety locks for kitchen and bathroom, and baby monitors if needed just message me upon your booking (no charge). We can provide a golf cart for additional costs. If interested, please message me after your booking is complete to add this on. We also own the camper next door if you need more space as this could be an option to add. The closest grocery store is 20 mins away (Lowes Food) or there is a Dollar General that has some grocery items as well a few minutes outside the neighborhood. I would suggest stocking up on your way in. There are only a few restaurants in the area. Joeys is in the neighborhood, usually there is a local food truck near by but cannot guarantee, and Scallywags is just a 10 min drive. The house is fully stocked to cook and enjoy your meals on the enclosed patio or deck looking at the lake. (Stove, Oven, Microwave, and propane grill) Some attractions near our house include: NC Zoo, Uwharrie National Forest, Badin Lake, gold mines, Old North State Club Golf Course, etc.
