Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Fox camp is on the waters edge of a big beautiful pond. This is a dry camping experience with a clean Porta-Potti for camper use, a private fire pit, tiki-torches and an umbrella covered picnic table. Do you like fishing? Bring your pole and enjoy catch and release! There is so much to do, but it’s a great place to relax and just do nothing too! You’ll love Fox camp!!! The space The large pond can be scenery, or take advantage of our available watercraft. The areas are grassy and there is some decline leading to the ponds edge. In Mid July there are thousands of little frog you can watch exit the pond. This area is partially shaded by a large cedar tree, but no matter where you are it is beautiful. Guest access Watercraft are available to all campers, we have kayaks, a canoe, and a multiple person paddleboat. To the left of the "Parking area" is a Portable toilet , with solar lights. Toilet is cleaned after every check out. Parking area is grass, camping area is grass, fishing is allowed with catch and release rules. Feel free to walk around and explore the meadow. Other things to note There are so many things to do! Every Saturday during the Summer the "Skagit Speedway" is open (3 minutes away),"The Skagit Casino" (5 minutes away), or there are several lakes near by you could swim or paddle board at within minutes of the camp ("Lake Padden" 12 minutes away)! Mountain biking can be done at "Galbraith Mountain" only 12 minutes away! If hiking is more your speed we are also located only 5 minutes away from "Alger Alp Trail" or "Squires Lake Trail" to name a few. Don't want to cook "Alger bar and Grill" is (3 minutes) right down the road or (20 minutes away) in Bellingham there are many restaurants and popular breweries to choose from!! Then come on back and relax in front of a fire listening to frogs and watching the bats fly. Then do it all again the next day!
