Dedicated parking, and private area for grilling out and enjoying the outdoors. Although attached to the main house, it doesn't feel like it, and guests find it surprisingly private. We love having kids stay too! We have a great treehouse, pond, seasonal creek and lots of areas to explore. This apartment has it's own entrance at the back of the house, but guests are encouraged to lay in the hammocks, walk the property, or enjoy the outdoor sitting areas. The apartment has it's own entrance and parking, but I am available either in person or via text as much as needed. I think guests are surprised at how private the guest apartment is. Our property sits on a road that is popular with cyclist and winery tours. We are just a short drive from seven+ wineries, including the well-known King Estates tasting room and restaurant. We are less than 12 miles from the Eugene Airport, within 30 miles of 12 wineries and 18 breweries. Twenty minutes to University of Oregon, and an hour to the Oregon Coast. The northwest has great hiking, and the Eugene area is no exception. We are out in the country, so we recommend a car, bike or motorcycle. Private drivers, shuttles, buses, etc. are available online for winery tours. This apartment is accessible via stairs, so it is not ideal for those wishing to stay on a main level. We have both a cat and large dog on the property.
