Stunning Barn conversion near Longleat

Our rural retreat is a fabulous, renovated barn in the grounds of our family house with stunning views of the rural countryside . It is the perfect place to escape for a weekend getaway and offers every amenity in a luxurious, welcoming environment. The barn is just a short walk from the village, home to the excellent Cross Keys pub and a vending machine that dispenses fresh milk, eggs and cheese. The barn is next to a farm and you may be woken by the baying of sheep! The space The Barn has two bedrooms and king beds made up with Egyptian cotton linen. There is a fully equipped kitchen with its own island and breakfast bar and a comfortable living area. There is also a second 'party room' with comfy sofas and equipped with a wi-fi projector that beams pictures to the wall. The barn is ideally situated near Frome one of the South West's leading market towns and recently featured in the Sunday Times as the best place to live in Somerset. It has become a "foodie hipster haven" due to the influx of young families, with St Catherine's Hill at the centre of the artisan quarter. The town has a comprehensive choice of retail outlets and all the usual amenities. Founded in 2013, the "Frome Independent" is an award winning independent street market that is held on the first Sunday of every month and attracts 80,000 people a year. Also close by is Longleat Safari Park, Babington House, the pretty village of Mells with the popular and upmarket Talbot Inn and Stourhead gardens. Orchardleigh golf course is only 8 miles away. Local supermarkets include Asda and Sainsburys in Frome and well worth a visit is White Row farm shop near Beckington. Guest access As guests, you will have exclusive use of the barn and an allocated garden space outside. Please note that the gardens in the picture beyond the steps are private although may be available by prior arrangement . A second party barn may be available to guests booked into the barn with prior negotiation with the owner. Other things to note There is ample parking for several cars.
