Relax with the whole family at this peaceful creek side farm. Enjoy the spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home connected to the original 1856 Stone Farmhouse. This freshly updated space provides all of your basic kitchen needs. A spacious main living area and full bathroom make up the first floor. Two bedrooms and a large bathroom complete the second floor. Also available is a washer and dryer in the basement laundry room. Enjoy the beautiful countryside views outside by the firepit area. This is a "Dawdy Haus" addition onto the original stone farmhouse. You will have privacy in your space and you can enjoy the beautiful outdoors in the side yard where the firepit is located, there is plenty of room for outdoor lawn games or anything you like in that area. From your space you will also see an Amish one-room schoolhouse, which when in session you can see the children outside playing softball etc during their recess times! The amish family who own the farm will be coming and going on the property to do various chores, including caring for the herd of longhorn cattle in the pastures surrounding the farm house. You have a private entrance to your home. The entire space is yours to use and enjoy, including the laundry room which is located in the basement. Also, the side yard with a gazebo and firepit is also your area to enjoy! I live in the connected stone farm house and am in and out most days but I am always available via text! Surrounded by amish farmland and beautiful pastures but conveniently located only 3 miles south of the historic town of Strasburg where you can find charming shops and restaurants to enjoy. Every Friday and Saturday there is a roadside stand where you can pick up freshly baked goods and fresh produce. Simply turn right out of the farm lane and the stand is at the top of the hill by the lane on the right side. Its a short and easy walk as well! Easy access by vehicle. There is a gravel driveway and two easy to find parking spots for you to use during your stay. During the warmer months we also have tent set up for you to use and enjoy if you choose to. We provide several sleeping mats that can be put in the tent but any additional bedding must be brought by you. Sleeping bags/pillows etc.
