Sunshine room and aloha lodge

Our colourful home is conveniently located near the beaches Lagoon Beach and Milnerton Lighthouse in the suburb Milnerton, the nearest on the West Coast to Cape Town City Centre. The drive by either your car, the reliable MyCitiBus or with popular UBER takes no longer than 15 min. The beach is in walking distance and in the evenings you can enjoy a beautiful sunset with a cold drink in your hands and good people around you and the breathtaking view onto Table Mountain. The space If you are looking for a comfortable huge bed to sleep in and a desk to work at with fast wifi connection and you love a bit of sunshine in the room but you don't mind sharing the bathroom with another housemate then this is the place to be. Our covered patio invites to an open-air breakfast in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. For the braai/barbecue enthusiasts we have a braai/barbecue, too. Please make use of our well-equipped communal kitchen for storing your food in one of the 2 fridges or in one of the storage shelves and for the preparation of all your meals. We offer free high speed Wi-Fi throughout the premises. We also invite you to play a game of sticks at our pool table in our comfy communal lounge in the main house or if you just want refreshment after a hard day full of activities feel free to take a swim in our clean pool in the garden. We have a washing machine installed next to our washing line in the back garden which may be used for free but usage is limited to one load a week. If you are travelling by car you can park safely on the property behind an automatic gate. Besides, if you are a pet lover our cats Molly, Dexter and Mickey will be there for a cuddle! ;-) Travellers often describe our place as a homecoming and we pride ourselves that our guests arrive as visitors and leave as friends! Some even come back repeatedly year after year… Become part of the Aloha family! See you soon! Guest access Our guests are more than welcome to make use the communal areas of the main house. These include the communal lounge, communal kitchen and patio as well as the swimming pool. The cottage next to the parking area is in private use and may not be entered. During your stay I'm living on the same premises. I'm happy to give tips in and around Cape Town. I will gladly assist with restaurant bookings, day trips, car rental, weather forecast etc. Other things to note There are five more guest units part of the same premises. This particular room is part of the main house. Please note our WiFi is constantly available even during load shedding hours. However, lights and plugs are off. Please make sure your devices are charged. Each room has an emergency light when power outages occur. Also, due the fact that our communal kitchen is equipped with a gas stove preparing a warm meal during electricity outages won't be an issue. Being a very environmentally conscious person myself I would love everyone who resides at my house to separate recyclables (plastic, tins, paper, bottles) from non-recyclables as well as support saving water and electricity.
