Pet-free and smoke-free, our home is a newly refurbished Victorian maisonette with all the modern comfort and meets all the safety standards. Right by Victoria Park, it has spacious rooms with high ceiling and ample light. The house is a corner unit with a hair salon and an office on the ground floor and we have our own private entrance/hallway. Our 2 guest rooms are on the first floor and share one bathroom/shower. On the same level are also our modern kitchen and family sitting room. The space Our house has amazing light and we have quite a few wood carvings and antique Chinese porcelain here so it's like a mini museum! Guest access Feel free to spend time in the kitchen, sitting room and backyard. No cooking with the gas hob/oven though but our guests are welcome to use our kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge space. Please help yourself to a cup of coffee/ tea ( and there's milk in the fridge)! Guests have no access to laundry facility on the property but there is a laundrette 150 M down the road ( open 8am to 8pm ). During your stay We live here in the same house but our bedrooms and family bathroom are on a different level from the guest rooms so guests can enjoy their privacy. Our sitting room and kitchen are on the same floor with the guest rooms so feel free to socialise with us! Other things to note 1. Please don't leave food waste in the room..It's an old Victorian house and we don't want any problems with pests. 2. Despite the rise of utility prices, we decided to keep our room rate low. Please help us keep it that way by conserving water / energy when you stay with us. 3. Guests have no access to laundry facility on the property but there is a laundrette 150 M down the road ( open 8am to 8pm ). 4.Gas hob and oven in the kitchen are not accessible for guests. Please do not "book instantly" if you wish to cook your meals during your stay.
