This is not a hotel, your experience may not always be perfect but we promise to work with you every step of the way; to trouble shoot any issues that may arise. We do not live in Manhattan; we live in a residential Brooklyn neighborhood and that means there is some travel involved to get to tourist locations. After noting the travel times to popular neighborhoods, please do not give poor ratings because we are 30-60min away from some places. We are very upfront about the approximate travel times and the many options to get around but also note we do not charge Manhattan prices. The area is mostly a Caribbean, American neighborhood. It is within walking distance of lots of take-out restaurants serving American, Caribbean, and Chinese food. You may also hear sirens or street traffic that is customary to living in a big city.
