Serenity Shores on Big Bass Lake

Escape to serene lakeside living at our charming 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom cottage on Big Bass Lake. With stunning views from the large porch, ample amenities inlcluding kayaks, a canoe and a firepit with room up to 10 guests. Located on a private road, it is quiet and secluded. Our spacious cottage offers a cozy retreat for families and groups seeking relaxation on the lake, in the Manistee national forest, fishing, hunting and exploring. The space Nestled amidst the picturesque landscape of Irons, Michigan, our spacious cottage offers a cozy escape. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern stainless steel appliances and ample counter space for preparing delicious meals. Step outside onto the expansive porch and soak in panoramic views of Big Bass Lake. Enjoy family meals or simply lounge with a book in one of the two provided hammocks. Embark on an aquatic adventure with our provided kayaks and canoe. Shoot some hoops with your kiddos on the in ground basketball hoop located in the driveway. Spend leisurely afternoons paddling along the serene waters or cast a line from the dock for a chance for dinner. As the sun sets, gather around the outdoor firepit for s’mores and storytelling under the starlit sky. Create lasting memories with loved ones as you share laughter and warmth by the crackling flames. Enjoy riding the ORV trails, hiking, fishing, hunting, and exploring the beautiful Manistee National Forest. There are several ways to explore both the lakeside and the forest from our property. Guest access The home, driveway and front deck is available for guest use. Guests will not have access to the garage and will walk around the house to the large deck to enter the home. There is a key pad on the front door (lake side) that you will receive the code and be able to access the home. Shared beach located at corner of drive-- sandy beach shared with 4 neighbors. Dock your boat on the dock immediately outside the house. No Pets. Do NOT arrive with pet, you will be asked to leave without refund. Other things to note The dock immediately on the property allows for Kayaking, canoeing and boating. For the sandy beach, a quick walk down the dirt road will bring you to a perfect swim area that is shared with 4 other neighbors. Another dock (green dock with same address) is located at this location. Perfect place for kids to swim and have fun! Bring beach chairs for the sandy beach. When in our front yard, there are 6 Adirondack chairs available for either on the porch or around the fire. There is also a table with 4 chairs and an umbrella on the concrete patio. There is a general store (Na-Ta-Ka general store) less than a mile away that sells some basics including worms for fishing and snacks/drinks. There is a restaurant (Na-Ta-Ka) immediately next door to the general store. Other than these two options, there is Dublin General store in Wellston and several options for grocery stores and Ice Cream in Baldwin. Irons is a town known for outdoor adventures, no cell phone services and lots of exploring. Our family looks forward to time to unplug and be together with literally no where to go but have fun on the lake and trails. There are tons of world class ORV trails nearby.
