Imagine waking to crisp air on the back patio, blanket on your lap as you sip coffee and watch an egret fish in the beach shallows. This waterfront home is a picturesque getaway with balcony views, cozy patio blankets, and a private fishing beach. Pool and backyard ending a 9-month facelift. Pool, decking, and outdoor kitchen are complete. Plantings and minor items finish this fall. LIVING AREA: The bottom level of the home is the large open-concept family room with lots of seating, a new 48 inch smart TV with ROKU and Netflix, a long dining room table on patio, Apple AirPlay & home pods, and a FULLY stocked kitchen with dishes, glassware, pot and pans, appliances, and a center island with seating. The top level of the home features a second bedroom with windows overlooking another large deck and the lake. BEDROOMS: There is one bedroom upstairs and one down. Downstairs master suite has a queen bed and living room space with a cozy couch. Upstairs bedroom has a queen with a trundle bed with two twin mattress. Perfect for a second couple or the kids. Each of the bedrooms are spacious and private. All towels and linens are provided and washed for you after your stay (guests are welcome to use washer/dryer). AMENITIES: There is a private walk way from the house to the private beach area and sitting area on the shore. The house is equipped with High-speed broadband Wi-Fi internet that works all the way down to the beach. This home has three smart TV's with Apple AirPlay as well as Netflix, Hulu and assorted live channels. You can access the high speed wireless internet from anywhere on the property. The TV’s are located in the living room, master bedroom, and upstairs bedroom. ON-SITE BOAT DOCK NOW AVAILABLE: This house is one of the only lake homes around Charlotte with two boat slips available the duration of your stay. Bring your own boat and launch it at Papa Doc's, a short 5 minute boat ride, and park attached the the dock. The owner may have their boat here in the other slip, so if you need more than one spot, make sure you check in advance. The lake is huge -- full of beautiful houses, on the water restaurants with boat parking (Papa Docs), and tons of cool Sand Bars and islands to hang out on -- EXPLORE IT! GUEST ACCESS: Our guests have access to the Guest House portion of the property. THE NEIGHBORHOOD: Located just 20 mins from uptown Charlotte, this home is convenient to all the surrounding area has to offer (mall, restaurants, grocery, marina are all less than 5 minutes from the house). Even though you are close to retail shops and malls, you'll escape from the busy world when you drive down our 1/2 mile wooded gravel road that only serves 4 homes. GETTING AROUND: Uber and Lyft are very active in Charlotte. Ask us about our connection for pontoon boat rentals! OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: ***We have a zero-tolerance policy for parties or gatherings. We use a noise sensor to detect the noise level inside the suite. The guest amount on your reservation must match the number of guests that will be on the property at any given time. There is a $1000 fee for any parties or gatherings. We do utilize local law enforcement if you cannot abide by these rules and you will be asked to vacate at your own expense. This is a smoke free property. Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside the home. There is a $1000 fee for smoking inside.*** We are happy to host furry family members for a non-refundable fee of $300 per pet. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am.
