Historic "Hitzmühle" in a secluded location

Catering to our guests is our unique selling point. Food and drinks are NOT included! Self-catering is NOT possible with us! From a breakfast buffet to a nice snack at lunchtime to a rich dinner, everything is possible. We will discuss your wishes together in advance. We cook ourselves, fresh and preferably over an open fire. Our reviews give a good impression of what to expect from us. We'll take the work off your hands! The space The Hitzmühle is located alone between two villages. It is green all around – we look out over meadows and cow pastures. The mill, first mentioned in the 15th century, has been converted and expanded several times. A rippling stream is right by the garden. You can start your tours on foot or by bike or drive to one of the numerous sights of the Vogelsberg by car. If you want to have your peace – just lie down in a hammock in the garden. The house has two floors (each approx. 150 m²). Upstairs you will find 5 bedrooms, two shower rooms and a toilet. On the first floor, there is a dining/lounge room and a seminar room (seminar room only on request). The entrance to the mill is in the courtyard – facing the street. Here you will also find a covered terrace and seating for a chat. Between the barn and the house you walk into our approx. 3,000 m² garden. We have no fences – you are surrounded by meadows, pastures and the stream. Several outdoor seating areas invite you to linger, enjoy and unwind. On request, we can heat up the wood-fired hot tub for you – and you can end the day in the evening in the warm water. By the way – the starry sky is extraordinary! Our Hitzmühle is suitable for family gatherings as well as for corporate events or club groups. And if it gets later at the fire pit: no neighbor is bothered by the nightly noise level. We have about 10 parking spaces on the premises. The nearest train station is in Mücke-Flensungen. Our Wi-Fi is at your disposal. In addition, we offer a large screen for presentations, a flipchart and two pin walls, as well as tables and chairs for 16 seminar participants in the seminar room. Guest access You always have the house and the property to yourselves. Access is from the street via a large courtyard to the house. We, your hosts, also live on the premises and are also present here. If you need anything, you can always contact us. Other things to note Families with children should note that our property is not fenced. We have a road by the house and a stream – both are freely accessible. In addition, the electrical outlets in the house are not secured. Our old stairs (front door access and stairs to the 2nd floor) are over 120 years old and correspondingly "worn out." The upper floor will not be entered by us during your stay – nor will it be cleaned. If you are with us longer, an intermediate cleaning, which is billed separately, can be arranged.
