The guests have access to the house and are welcome to look around the property. Nothing should be picked unless you have asked first and been given permission. Other things to note We have come full circle! Last year we did a trial run of growing FLOWERS! Once upon a time this land was a flower farm and it was My Great Aunt Betty and her family who started it. Wades mom, Zora, continued to grow flowers for a couple of years and decided that digging bulbs was not that fun. To this day there is a small patch of tulips still growing and they bloom every year in May. I always think fondly of Auntie Betty and Zo when I see them. Now as most of you have heard, we removed our cherry trees, except for a few, this year. The trees were 26 years old and with the weird weather events, it was time. It’s sad, I know. We really miss looking at the trees, they were beautiful, but not all of the work they involved. So, instead of looking at empty rows we planted 15 rows of flowers. About 3000 feet of flowers. It’s all a work in progress. We have planted several rows of zinnias, most started with my own seeds, about 150 dahlias and some very unique types of flowers that look beautiful fresh but dry very nicely. Eventually I would love to start a U-pick flower farm, we are working on a few things. Registration Details Provincial registration number: PM281470269
