Otterview has one of the most incredible views in the state, huge deck, and pond. The house is open format with 3 bedrooms, a top of the line kitchen, cozy living room, and extraordinary great room. Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the firepit, and relax on the dock. There is two miles of trails on the 37 acre property with their own trail signs and map. The space Located in the Blue Ridge mountains you are a quick drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Peaks of Otter, many popular hikes, and 25 minutes to downtown Roanoke. Guest access You have access to the entire home and trails to hike on the property. The open floor plan is excellent for entertaining. It is a quiet area with friendly neighbors. Plenty of privacy on your own gated road. Please note there is no hunting or trapping allowed for guests. Other things to note Cell reception is great in the house with a cell booster. It can be spotty out on the property. This is a mountain house which means the last mile is on a gravel road / driveway. You can make the drive with 2wd but go slowly because tree branches occasionally fall or rocks could have rolled down into the driveway. The road is well maintained but not all paved. Wintertime snow can be significantly more than down in the Roanoke Valley. During winter 4wd is suggested especially if snow is in the forecast. The extended time typically eliminates the opportunity for another rental day.
