In the heart of Cinque Terre, in the charming village of Riomaggiore, Alto Mare is an peaceful oasis, just a few steps from the station, the main street and 5 minutes walk from the beach. The apartment has an equipped kitchen, a bedroom that can accommodate up to 4 people, a large living room with dining area and sitting area, with a sofa bed for 2 people, a bathroom. The apartment has wi-fi, air conditioning, TV and is divided into different spaces to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. The living space is a single large room divided into: - living room, with armchairs and a double sofa bed - dining area, with a large table - kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, kettle and crockery and cutlery - a spacious terrace, with a table and armchairs, where you can eat and relax The sleeping area has a quadruple bedroom, with a double loft bed above and two single beds at the base. The bathroom has a shower, and a hairdryer. The washing machine is for you. Cinque Terre are ancient villages dating back to the 1200s, built along uphill stairways. This are their geological peculiarity, what that makes them unique. The steps of the Cinque Terre can be challenging and it is something you need to note in case of mobility problems. We therefore invite you to consider that from the main road to the alley where the house is located, the distance is very short, however we want to warn you of a staircase of about 20 steps to climb on foot and that, once you arrive at your destination, you will have to climb another 10 steps to get to the first floor. Shower gel (but not shampoo) and toilet paper are the only consumable products provided. You will find towels and sheets. We are not a hotel and our guests cannot expect hotel standards such as daily cleaning and linen changes: for stays longer than 3 days the change of towels and the collection of rubbish will be carried out in the middle of the stay while the replacement of the sheets will be carried out only on request and for a fee. The accomodation doesn’t have private parking. Pets are not allowed. City tax is included Guest access PAY ATTENTION TO STEPS Riomaggiore is a very small village closed to traffic and all the movements are very fast on foot (maximum 5 minutes from one place to another). The station is inside the village so it is not necessary to take other transport (bus or taxi). You might know that there are many steps to get to the beach or the castle or to wander through the labyrinth of alleys that make up the historic center. This is something you should consider if you visit Cinque Terre, specially in case of health problems or disabilitity. PAY ATTENTION TO PARKING Arriving to Riomaggiore by car is not recommended. Please consider that Riomaggiore is a very small village closed to the traffic. Only (very few) paid parking lots are located at the entrance of the village. Their price is 35 euros a day and you can not book them in advance. We suggest you to leave your car in La Spezia from where you will arrive to Riomaggiore in only 10 minutes by train. Parking in La Spezia also means avoiding long queues on the coastal road, especially in high season. Other things to note CHECK IN Check-in is possible between 2pm and 8pm. The time of arrival must necessarily be agreed the day before your stay (we will contact you) based on our availability and further arrivals at our facility. We inform you that the accommodation may not be ready before 1pm due to cleaning, but you can possibly leave your luggage at the reception waiting for everything to be tidy and clean for you. For arrivals after 8 pm it is possible to book a self check in or a paid late check-in service, but only based on the availability of the staff. CHECK OUT Check-out is before 10am.
