Have a true Alaskan experience as you cozy up in this tiny cabin near views of "The Big One." You'll be a stone's throw from the iconic Nenana river and famous Alaska Railroad, with plenty of opportunity for moose sighting. Located an hour (55mi) south of Fairbanks and an hour (60mi) north of Denali National Park. You'll be a stone's throw from the iconic Nenana river and famous Alaska Railroad, with plenty of opportunity for moose sighting. Located an hour (55mi) south of Fairbanks and an hour (60mi) north of Denali National Park. This new cabin has been recently renovated as our cozy guest house with approx. 325 ft² of living space. Our cabin space is a perfect blend of modern design and amenities, and Alaskan rustic elegance. It is conveniently located in Nenana, directly between Fairbanks and Denali National Park and Preserve. Rio's Cabin is conveniently located behind Roughwoods Inn, close to Coghills Grocery and The Hot Pot, Nenana's newest restaurant. There is a full kitchen; refrigerator, gas range, coffee pot, and washer/dryer combo. As guests, you'll have private access to the entire cabin for the duration of your stay with a comfortable wrap around patio to enjoy. The living area is upstairs, accessed by a ladder. There is a queen bed for 1-2 guests and an additional trundle bed/couch for additional guests. The dining/kitchen area and bathroom (shower/toilet) is on the main floor.
