Located in the heart of West Central Alberta, Edson is the halfway point between Edmonton and Jasper National Park. Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, the guest suite at Penny Lane is sure to provide a memorable stay. Enjoy the beauty of nature with the convenience of being a five minute drive to downtown Edson. Private walkout basement suite provides parking right at your door, in floor heat, bedroom, kitchenette, living room & bathroom with shared laundry. The space Guests are invited to enjoy our outdoor living area including a fire pit, gazebo, bbq, games and more. The property features gardens, ponds and a greenhouse. While strolling our woodland paths you may even encounter some local birds and wildlife! Our big dog Ben will be your best friend if you like that, but he is a very good boy and will go lie down if you tell him to. Guest access The kitchenette includes a kerueg, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster oven, kettle, popcorn maker, hot plate, coffee maker, crock pot, electric frying pan dishes and utensils.. The laundry room is shared, we do our best to use the facilities while guests are away. The bedroom features a queen bed, there is a double futon in the living room and a single cot can be requested. Our cozy suite has everything you need to be your home away from home! Other things to note We do have a rural septic system so it is important that nothing gets flushed down the toilet other than the toilet paper provided. Flushable wipes, tampons and condoms are extremely problematic and can cause our system to fail. These items must be properly disposed of in the trash.
