Cosy one bedroom cottage close to the coast

Jasmine cottage forms part of a courtyard of 9 holiday cottages, converted from original farm buildings. It is set in large grounds, with games room, tennis court and grassy areas to walk your dog on lead. At certain times of year there is an enclosed grass paddock to walk dogs off lead but this cannot be guaranteed, as it is occasionally used for grazing horses. The cottage is a short drive to the beautiful Woolacombe Beach and the harbour town of Ilfracombe. The space There's no escaping the fact that Jasmine Cottage is quite compact, but then we firmly believe that size isn't everything. Perfect for a couple or a family with one or 2 young children, the cottage offers all you need for a cosy relaxing stay. In the bedroom, a top quality kingsize mattress and 400 thread Egyptian cotton bedding ensures a comfortable night's sleep, and the chaise longue, a great place to relax with a book, can be converted into a single bed for the smallest member of the family. We do not provide cots or highchairs as we would not be able to ensure that they met all health and safety requirements, so you would need to bring your own. In the bathroom there is a bath with shower over, so you can relax your aching muscles after a long walk or a day in the surf. The lounge has a table and chairs for cosy mealtimes and a sofa, comfy chair and footstool for relaxing in front of the 40 inch smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen has a hob, grill, oven, microwave and coffee machine (pods provided) and a fridge with a freezer box. The cottage is situated approximately 1 mile from the beautiful village of West Down, which has a pub and convenience store. The South West Coast Path and Tarka Trail are within easy reach and the fabulous award winning, 3 mile long, dog friendly Woolacombe Beach (yes it's our favourite place!) is only 6 miles away. A 20 minute drive will take you to the beautiful Exmoor, with stunning walks and delicious pub lunches. Jasmine Cottage is very dog friendly. We provide mats, dog bowls, throws for the sofa and of course a few treats for your four legged friend. Our only request is that you don't allow them on the bed. We really hope you will love Jasmine Cottage as much as we do. We have furnished the cottage with comfort and relaxation in mind and everything in the cottage has been carefully chosen, including artwork and crafts from local artisan makers, to give a real North Devon feel. We look forward to welcoming you to our favourite part of the world. We love it so much that we decided to make this special place our home. Guest access All grounds are communal. There are plenty of outside seating and eating areas in the gardens and paddocks surrounding the cottage. Please note that the games room is not dog friendly. If your pet can be left safely in the cottage while you use the games room (preferably crated), we are happy for this to happen as long as they will settle and not disturb other guests.
