The Winhall Chalet is centrally located between Stratton, Bromley, and Manchester - less than a 15 minute drive to all. The space We’ve designed this home as the ideal getaway for family, friends, and couples. The space is crafted to be a calming source of renewal and inspiration – the perfect place to relax and connect with the outdoors through a stylish and relaxed vibe. Highlights: • Expansive living room with wood burning fireplace and large TV • Hot tub that seats 8 comfortably • Fire pit and tranquil patio (firewood included in stay) • Dedicated work space • Centrally located between Manchester and Stratton • Large game room with pool table and shuffle board • Large grass lawn and wrap around deck • Sonos speaker in the living room • 48” grill and outdoor dining area • Aveda bath products We are centrally located between various ski mountains (15 minutes to Stratton, 10 minutes to Bromley, 20 minutes to Magic, and 40 minutes to Okemo) as well as a quick drive to scenic Manchester. The house itself is located at the end of a quiet road, which is maintained by the town for snow. We recommend four-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicles during the winter months for easiest access in snowy conditions. The house is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and recently updated with stainless-steel appliances. The coffee station has a Nespresso machine and complimentary coffee pods, as well as French press and electric kettle for all coffee & tea lovers. The open living area has a large wood burning fireplace, plenty of seating and a smart TV. Working from home? There is a dedicated workspace in the second-floor loft, as well as an additional workspace in the lower bedroom, and high speed WiFi throughout the home and property. There are five bedrooms in the home. The spacious primary bedroom is located on the second floor and has a queen bed and ensuite bathroom. The first floor has two queen bedrooms with a shared hall bathroom, and the lower level has one queen bedroom as well a bunkroom with shared hall bath. Other amenities provided include Aveda bath products, washer & dyer, luggage racks in all bedrooms, and fully stocked firewood. Spend some time outside while you visit! The property has a hot tub tucked amongst the trees as well as an outdoor seating and dining area on the large wrap around porch, perfect for enjoying outdoor nights. A spacious patio with an elegant fire-pit is tucked next to the forest for nights under the stars. We also have a large grill on the porch available for our guests to make the most of their stay. For additional fun, there is a game room on the lower level with a pool table, ping pong, and shuffleboard table, as well as board games and puzzles available. Please also note, the house does not have AC but we provide standing fans in the bedrooms to insure a comfortable stay during the summer. Please be respectful of our home, we have put a lot of time and effort into making this space comfortable and relaxing for our guests, and hope to continue sharing it with them for years to come. Enjoy your stay! Guest access The whole property will be available to guests during their stay. 4WD or AWD cars are recommended for winter guests for easiest access during snow conditions. In the winter months the driveway will be plowed and cleared by a local plow service. Arrival times for the plow service can vary greatly dependent on the size of the snow storm. We ask that guests check the weather forecasts and factor this into their travel plans. Remote check-in is available through keypad lock. Other things to note We ask guests use the dedicated outdoor trash receptacles during their stay to prevent attraction of animals. This is Vermont and there are sometimes animals in the area that will get into any food or trash left outside, so please be mindful. We do welcome pets to join you on your stay, there is a $150 flat rate pet fee per booking. Please be sure to indicate pets on your guest count if you plan to have them join you.
