Our 1925 home with a renovated sunny north facing area is a taste of genuine inner Hobart living rather than a more sterile hotel-type stay. This is our home, complete with lots of board games, a friendly tabby cat and a productive permaculture garden. The open kitchen and living area opens out to our leafy garden and outdoor entertaining area. We only make our home available on the rare occasions when we travel. The space It's quiet and sunny because all the windows are double glazed and the living area is on the north side. You have a lovely green view of the garden and the historic homes of the old part of Hobart. It's a 15-20 minute stroll through beautiful Battery Point to get to the waterfront and Salamanca's shopping and night life. A spacious BBQ and eating area is on the north side of the house. Willow the cat is very friendly but tends to live outside a lot in summer, so you might not see her much. We no longer have chickens, but help yourself to the productive garden. Guest access Location, location! We are a few minutes stroll from the Sandy Bay cafes, restaurants, two major supermarkets, and other services. We are close to RYCT and all the sailing action. It's a very pleasant 15 minute walk through Battery Point to Salamanca market and the port activity. MONA ferry is just another few minutes further on than Salamanca.
