WELCOME to our Scandinavian Beach house, where you can check your worries at the door. We take care of dishes, trash, ect upon checkout(NO CHORE LIST FOR GUESTS!)Eloquently designed in a peaceful fashion. The family can unwind in the luxurious hot tub, enjoy the outside firepit, or walk through a secret trail right into Wilmington's best park! Conveniently located 3 min to Jungle Rapids Water park, 10 min to Wrightsville beach & 10 min to historic downtown river front! The center of Wilmington! The space The Hygge Beach House at Midtown is the perfect home-away-from-home paradise and can accommodate up to 10 guests including children & pets ($100 Fee for up to 3 furry companions). This oasis comes with self-check-in, high-speed Wi-Fi, a private and nearly fully fenced backyard ready for entertaining family, kids, and your furry friends! You'll find the sign "The Hygge Beach House at Midtown" greeting you upon arrival. From the moment you open the front door, you know you are entering a special space. The simple design and spacious layout boasts tons of natural lighting, and many desirable amenities. Immerse into the "Hygge" life style theme with calming earth tones blended with wood, metal and leather pieces. In the family room, there is space for all. The deep seats and comfortable sofa provides a remarkable space for gathering and connecting. There is a 55" smart TV ready for movie night and more. The indoor fireplace is for your view, but cannot be used. The spacious 8-person dining room table is where many memorable times, laughter, and quality family meals will be shared together. The kitchen offers nearly any cookware you can think of and is a wonderful place to stretch your culinary skills. This paired with the back yard grill, makes for quite the opportunity to impress your party with your finest dishes! Please open the cabinets to find the toaster, blender, utensils, and more. Also, don't forget to turn on music via our Bluetooth DOSS sound bar to fill the place with your favorite jams! Coffee and Tea: The coffee bar station is at your service! There are nespresso cups available with variety of flavors for you to choose as well as tea bags, hot cocoa, and creamers. The wooden desk with 2 chairs can be used for extra dining seats or as workstation. The space is also well used as a spot for sipping a morning cup of coffee while enjoying the squirrels as they play about the sun rays in the backyard! At the end of the kitchen, you will find the mud room! This space is the place to shake of all that beach sand and reset your items for your next Wilmington adventure. It is also the best spot to dry off after enjoying that luxury hot tub out back! Enjoy the front load washer and dryer as you please, as well as the utility sink for rinsing off whatever need to be rinsed. Tide pods and dryer sheets are stored within the cabinet above the sink. Here are the bedrooms and bathrooms as you enter the home and turn left down the hall: All beds are cooling memory foam for some of the best nights of sleep you could ask for! -- Bedroom 1 features a queen bed, with remarkably comfortable linens and pillows, a closet with hanging iron and iron board, 32" smart TV. -- Hallway bathroom: Enjoy with hair dryer and extra sets of towels. -- Bedroom 2 features two "twin over full" bunk beds and can accommodate six guests! The ultimate sleep over room to say the least! -- Bedroom 3: The Master bedroom presents a king size bed with luxurious linens, 32” smart TV, a large closet and memorable master bathroom. -- Bedroom 4: Features an additional queen bed, comfortable space, and smart TV. As you exit the back door, you will find the Hot tub, fire pit, outdoor furniture and Pergola are ALL in the same place!!! Turn on the Edison lights for a breathtaking evening in a serene backyard space in the evenings (light switch in kitchen by coffee controls the outdoor lighting). Guest access Guests can access the entire house with the exception of the closet in bedroom 4, the attic, and outdoor storage shed! Other things to note - Smart lock! We will provide you the code on the day of check in. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES Events (family gatherings, birthdays etc. must be coordinated for with us before it is allowed :) Back Yard Etiquette Hot Tub Rules 1) Thou shall not get into the the hot tub without showering first! Especially if thou hast been to the beacheth :) 2) Thou shall not removeth the sanitation ball that is floating within the hot tub...ever! 3) Thou shall not leave the hot tub cover off when not actively using the hot tub eth! 4) Though shall not eat foodeth in the hot tub :) Please unplug the Edison lights when your finished using the backyard for the night! - The indoor fireplace is for your viewing only and cannot be used due to potential fire hazard. - No smoking, drugs inside the house! - No excessively loud music to respect our quiet neighborhood. - Quiet hours are from 9pm - 7am daily - Require guests to be 18 years or older unless parents/guardian present! - No third party booking. - Although we have the property regularly serviced to fend off the North Carolina pests, we cannot guarantee 100% that bugs will not try to enter the house during your stay! Your reservation may include up to 10 guests maximum.
