Other things to note At Grindavík Guesthouse, we want your stay to be more than just a place to sleep. As locals, we love sharing our hometown and helping guests experience the best of the Reykjanes Peninsula. We're excited to continue expanding the guesthouse experience. During summer 2026, we're launching Grindavík Bike Rental, where guests can rent bicycles and electric scooters to explore the town and surrounding lava fields. Later in the summer, we'll also open Borg Studio & Café, a cozy café where locals and travelers can meet over great coffee and homemade treats. Guests will also be able to take part in creative workshops inspired by Icelandic design, knitting, and local craftsmanship.
