Enjoy a unique place in the beautiful surroundings of the Southern Ardèche, just outside the village but with all amenities nearby. Here you can enjoy an affordable vacation as well as quality and atmosphere. Enjoy the surroundings, the beautiful nature, where there is plenty to see and experience, a variety of activities and sights. In addition, you can also relax and lie on a lounger in the shade or in the sun, without children around you! The space The room in the former winery, which dates from the 18th century, overlooks the cozy courtyard, is nicely furnished and has every comfort (with a kitchenette, luxurious recliners, a private shower and toilet, and air conditioning). There is a queen-sized bed (or 2 single beds). Our guesthouse is small and cozy (3 double rooms; see also our other listings), with a pleasant courtyard, with many seats and sunbeds on 5000 m2 of land, where you can relax wonderfully. The winery (Le Mas des Chautards) is located just outside the village, in the countryside, but all amenities can be reached by car or bicycle within 5 minutes (supermarkets, organic store, greengrocer, pharmacy, bakery, restaurants). The Ardèche is a beautiful region and has a beautifully preserved history (medieval villages such as Balazuc, Vogûé, Banne, Thueyts, Jaujac, etc., many castles, churches, historical museums and various (historical) caves (including Grotte Chauvet and L'Aven d'Orgnac) that are definitely worth visiting! Everything in a beautiful setting and very varied nature, not to mention the Ardèche River, the famous Gorges de l'Ardèche river gorge with the impressive natural bridge, the Pont d'Arc, and much more! In the area, you can go hiking, cycling, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, caving, canyoning, quad biking... Almost anything is possible! There are some walking routes and cycling routes right from here. Rosières is located on the river La Beaume. Here you can take a refreshing "dip." There is also a nice beach in Joyeuse (a medieval village that is also worth a visit), by the dam in the river, where you can also swim (7 minutes by car), or in the village of LaBeaume (beautiful pebble beach!). Of course, you can also swim in the Ardèche (for example, at the Pont d'Arc in Vallon Pont d'Arc, in Ruoms, Balazuc, Pradons), or in the Chassezac (including Grospierres, Casteljau). Larger towns such as Aubenas, Alès, Montélimar, Privas are at a distance of 20 minutes to 1 hour. But Nimes, Orange and Avignon can also be visited (about 1.5 hours). We are happy to provide you with more information about the area! (In addition to Dutch, we also speak German, English and French.) Towels, bed linen and breakfast are included in the price. The breakfast supplies (coffee, tea, sugar, milk, honey, orange juice, artisanal toast, butter and jam, yogurt, muesli and eggs (local products)) are in the room upon arrival and are replenished during the stay. In the room, there is a kitchenette with a 4-burner gas stove and a fridge with a freezer compartment. There is also a shared kitchen, where basically everything is available (oven, microwave, air fryer, blender, pizza oven, gourmet stove, fondue, etc.). The washing machine and dryer are in the wine cellar. The wrap-around porch, courtyard and grounds are at your disposal. Bicycles can be safely placed in the garage. Electric bikes can be charged.
