An old mill in the Vrin Valley

Rejuvenate in a quiet and privileged environment. If you come by train for the weekend, I can pick you up (read below). You will stay in the former family mill, in a recently converted independent part. Discover the soothing sensation of living by the water, observing small wild fauna… You can also take beautiful walks along the Vrin valley or in the nearby forest. I will be happy to introduce you to our beautiful region, see you soon! The space You will stay in a building that has had several lives. A watermill for two centuries when the family acquired it in 1903, it continued to produce wheat flour for about ten years. It then became a water-powered sawmill. The transmission mechanisms, saws and sharpening workshop have now given way to an 84 m2 apartment. This consists of a living room overlooking an open kitchen, from where you can observe the stream passing under the house. The first bedroom is equipped with a 160 cm bed and the second with two 80 cm beds that can be assembled to form a 160 cm bed. Meals can be enjoyed outdoors in the shade of a large awning. Other things to note - The accommodation is not fenced. Children are therefore not allowed because of the risk associated with the presence of water. - Guests are kindly requested to smoke outside. - No pets allowed.
