Here are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions: Will there be plates, utensils, pots & pans, etc. in the cabin? Yes, the kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of plates, cups, mugs, utensils, crockpot, and pots and pans for your convenience. There are also 2 courtesy trash bags provided for the kitchen, 2 dishwasher packs, dish soap and 1 roll of paper towels. We apologize that per health department rules we cannot provide spices, cooking oil or other condiments. Is there a grill? Yes, there is a charcoal grill just outside of the front porch. Charcoal and lighter fluid is not provided. Are there appliances and a coffee maker? Yes, the kitchen features a full refrigerator and freezer, microwave, stove and oven. There is also a Cuisinart Combo Keurig machine with a coffee pot combo (with cone style filters). Are sheets and towels provided? Yes, sheets are provided on every bed. Two sets of towels and wash cloths are provided in each bathroom. Are pets allowed? No pets are allowed in the cabin at anytime. Are toilet paper and other toiletries provided? 1 courtesy roll of toilet paper is provided per bathroom as well as bars of hand soap. Other toiletries are not provided. Are there TVs and cable? Yes, each bedroom as well as the living room and recreation room features a large HD smart TV. There are cable boxes on each TV. You can also login to your own Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and YouTube accounts on each smart TV. Does the cabin have any games or activities? The cabin features a pool table and air hockey table. Additionally, there is a multicade arcade game featuring 60 arcade games. Some board games and playing cards are provided as well. There is also a 7 person jacuzzi on the deck overlooking the mountains. What are the roads like to get to the cabin? It is very easy to get to the cabin as the roads are wide and paved. Are there bears? Yes! We have bears roaming around the area and see them often. While they generally do not interact with humans please use extreme caution if you see a bear and please do NOT feed them. Is the cabin close to nearby attractions? Yes! The cabin overlooks the city lights of downtown Gatlinburg and you will be less than a 10 minute drive down to the action. The cabin is also just minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park as well as the new observation bridge, the largest in North America! It is also less than a 10 minute drive to the Ober ski resort. Is smoking permitted? No smoking is allowed inside the cabin or on its decks. We encourage our guests to purchase travel insurance as a hedge against unseen circumstances that may affect travel plans, and AirBNB provides the opportunity to do so for guests upon booking. Currently there is no restriction on travel to our area and our property will be ready for you as stated in the rental agreement. If you choose to cancel, the cancellation policy per the rental agreement will apply. The entire home is available for your stay. Guests will access the home via electronic lock code on the front door. We are available by phone to help with anything needed. This community is just 2 miles to downtown Gatlinburg, it is an incredible location. Less than 5 minutes down the Gatlinburg by-pass and you are in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, downtown Gatlinburg or a few minutes over to the new largest suspension bridge in North America with beautiful views! A car is recommended. 2-car parking is available at the cabin. No trailers or overflow parking. Special permission needed for 3rd vehicle. No washing of cars on premises. Guest must provide a photo ID to the host and sign the rental agreement with the host in order to complete the reservation in order to comply with local requirements. Please be aware that this is in the Great Smoky Mountains and there is potential dangerous wildlife all around. While they are typically scare of humans please do NOT feed or interact with any bears.
