This beautiful loft is within walking distance of Children's Hospital and the University of Washington. Stylish and serene, it's a perfect retreat for 1 or 2 people. There's plenty of on street parking and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. A short walk away is the University Village with it's array of retail shops and exceptional dining options. Many of our guests book with us for long term stays (3-5 weeks+). A great place to stay for your residency work, university program or just a visit. The space The top floor of a charming 1920's Seattle Tudor bungalow, this is a great place for one or two people who want a residential retreat in the heart of Seattle. It's a Tudor, so some walls slope in and the doorway is a bit low. Guest access Walk along gravel walkway on the side of the main house into the backyard courtyard. Access is at your convenience with the push-button door locks. Enter the house through the turquoise blue door and climb the stairs to the top floor loft - it's a couple flights of stairs and is a bit narrow :) Other things to note The doorway into the loft is low and anyone above average height will need to watch their head! Also available for our long-term stay guests: washer and dryer in the basement; and by request we will equip you with a mini freezer. We're just next door and have lived here for over 25 years.
