A perfect space for teleworking or an artist retreat, this cottage is ideal for long-term stays or weekends away. The space This cottage is an upscale hygge studio which is separate from the main house on the estate. An electric fireplace greets you as you enter the cottage, and you’ll want nothing more than to get comfortable on the large, down-filled Henredon chair nearby and cozy up with some of the provided reading materials. Your feet will find comfort in numerous plush rugs, and your body will appreciate the warmth of the queen-size bed’s heated mattress pad. Whether you prefer the convenience of a Keurig, the process of a french press, or the artistry of an espresso drink, the fully equipped kitchen is here to help you enjoy the process of making and drinking your favorite beverage. Don’t feel the need to go out for breakfast during your stay – you’ll find farm fresh eggs in the fridge upon arrival, as well as a few other local snacks and treats. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the cottage’s cozy outdoor living area – twinkling lights adorn the space at night, and you’ll even find insect repellant to help you fully experience Colorado’s lovely summer & autumn evenings. The Parisian bistro table and the kitchen peninsula are perfect spaces for dining or teleworking. High-speed wifi makes streaming or video conferencing a breeze. Feel free to bring whatever items you may need on your getaway! For such a small space, the cottage’s smart layout allows for more storage space than one might expect – including a full closet with hangers. Well-behaved pets are more than welcome, and we love to provide snacks and treats for our furry guests. Please make sure your pets have been treated for fleas and ticks before staying at the cottage. Our enhanced cleaning methods include UV sterilization, steam cleaning, and protective measures such as a bed-bug proof mattress. Guest access The cottage is separate from the estate’s main house and has a private, unfenced backyard. The main house has a friendly Golden Retriever and cats which use a separate, fenced backyard. The cottage has a keypad entry, which enables guests to self check-in. The owners will be in the main house to assist as needed. Other things to note High speed internet plus a bar and bistro table make the cottage an excellent space for teleworking. We welcome long-term stays!
