It is on beautiful Kinblethmont estate with its woodland walks, viewpoints and walled garden and is only 10 minutes from one of Scotlands best sandy beaches. The Barracks cottage is perfect for dog lovers or as a romantic rural getaway for couples. The space Over the last 15 years Kinblethmont estate has developed into a real hidden gem for discerning self - caterers and this latest addition is perfect for singles, couples and dog lovers. We are really pleased with this recent conversion with its cool contemporary styling , cosiness and practical details which despite being small has a clever open plan layout which makes it feel really spacious. The lovingly chosen contemporary and local artworks and antique pieces provide interest inside and link the cottage to the local area and environment. Unusually for a single bedroom cottage, we have included a full kitchen including modern induction hob, double oven and dishwasher with plenty of storage so it is a real home from home. The comfortable living area has a smart TV just ready to log into your online accounts for those cosy evenings in. Outside there is an enclosed grassed garden and patio area with open views over Kinblethmont farmland. We have for sometime been involved with renewable energy so with this conversion, to make the most of Scotland's natural ability to produce electricity from renewable sources, we have designed the house to be run on electricity only. There is underfloor heating throughout and an electric fireplace that can be used with or without heat for extra ambience. We can also, for an extra charge provide access to an outdoor plug for electric vehicles. Guest access The entire cottage is set up for guests with a private enclosed garden. Other things to note The cottage is in a group of 4 cottages around a central area. There is an enclosed private garden - the south part faces the other cottages, the eastern part has more privacy and overlooks the fields. The cottage is 100m across the fields from a working farm - you may hear sounds of grain drying machinery when outside. We welcome one large/Medium or 2 very small dogs at the cottage.
