Come play and then relax for a great night's sleep. Full bath and dining area along with a stocked pantry of complimentary drinks and snacks available. ☺ Walk to grocery stores, eateries, beer store and gas stations ☺ 17 miles to ski slopes / 4 miles to Appalachian Trailhead ☺ Amazing mountain view! ☺ Bring your pet! The suite consists of a studio-type arrangement. Living area with couch/futon and TV. Dining table with 2 chairs. Queen bed with side tables and lamps (USB charging and electric built in). Full bathroom with tub/shower combination. Oh, and a stocked pantry with drinks and snacks! A refrigerator, microwave and Kurieg coffee maker are also in pantry, along with tableware and condiments. Entire suite is yours and you do not share with others. You have complete privacy and your own deck and outside door entrance. Suite door is locked off (on your side and hosts) for security. No entrance from host at any time. The entire private suite is yours. Host lives on other side of home separated by locked door (lockable on guest side and host side) and long hallway. Host does not enter suite during guests stay. Respects guests privacy, but reach out at anytime. Host never accesses the suite when guests are staying. You're going to love the southern way of folks in Roan Mountain. A great little town where everyone knows each other. Lots of visitors and hikers/skiers will tell you how well they are treated here. I have only lived here a year and already know the community! Great place to visit. Roan is a small town with highway 19E as its main street. You can walk to grocery store, restaurants, gas stations and craft beer outlet all within 2 blocks. Car is needed if you plan on taking any scenic drives to Roan Park, Boone or ski resorts. Pet friendly for dogs and cats. Large yard and private streets for walks. A $36 pet fee applies to entire stay. No charge for documented service animals, but pet fee applies to emotional support animals. There is a cemetery across the street, which allows unobstructed view of the mountains (no houses or buildings). Many guests have used the paths for walking their dogs.
