A 5 star home from home like no other — Come and enjoy a sea and mountain break in the greatest county in Ireland. Unwind at this relaxing, modern and lovingly renovated cottage. The house was renovated with for a luxurious yet charming feel. Located close to the sea and mountains, enjoy stunning views, lush garden and private patio leading off the living area. All of the Ancient East attractions are within an easy driving distance including Dublin, Wexford, Waterford, Kilkenny and Carlow. The space Our cottage is set on 0.5 acres of private garden overlooking mountains to the rear. The cottage was lovingly renovated with exceptional attention to detail, including tiled floors, high ceiling in the bright living room and a fully fitted kitchen with use of all appliances. Your space comprises two double bedrooms, one with beautiful mountain views and the other that overlooks the fruit orchard. The kitchen overlooks a vegetable and herb garden which you are welcome to enjoy. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge / freezer, microwave, airfryer, instapot, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle toaster, coffee machine etc. There is an oak table and chairs so the whole family can be together during meal prep times. In the living room, there is a large TV with Netflix, Youtube, Amazon Prime etc. The large window allows you to enjoy a cocktail at sunset! French doors lead onto private patio with mountain views and outdoor lounge area with rattan furniture, BBQ as well as loungers to soak up the afternoon sun while enjoying and magnificent mountain and views. The beautifully furnished bedrooms each comprise a 5 foot bed with brand new duvet, mattress, pillows and cotton sheets. Fluffy bath towels are provided. The bathroom is fully supplied with toiletries, has a bath/shower and has an automatic light. The cottage is surrounded by a beautiful garden planted by James and I over the last 10 years as well as an assortment of cooking herbs, which you are encouraged to use and encouraged to enjoy the bird song throughout the day. The beach and some hill walks are ± - 7min drive away. There are convenience shops 2km in either direction of the house. Turn right out the gate and travel 2km into Redcross village where you will find two pubs, restaurant & gift and coffee shop. Turn left out the gate and 3km later you will find Green Angel which is the home of Luxury Irish Skincare and also a great day time eatery. Kilmacurragh National Botanic Gardens is also very close by and well worth a visit! There is gas heating throughout and a solid fuel fire place in the lounge for cosy evenings. There is also fiber broadband. Guest access You'll have use of the whole house. When the weather is fine, you're more than welcome to use the patio & BBQ area, we have beautiful rattan furniture, sun loungers and the most spectacular sunsets! Other things to note This is our home and we would hope that people would treat it as if it were their own home too! Our home is located 2km from the N11. having a car is recommended. Check in is from 3pm unless prior arrangements have been made. Check out is at 11am unless prior arrangements have been made.
