The indoor and outdoor spaces are setup to ensure a smooth & enjoyable stay, features include - gazebo, garden, BBQ. Near local sites, towns, hiking, golf. Drive 10 min to Millbrook 20 min to MTR Poughkeepsie, CIA NYC- 1.5 hr drive, train. The space Comfortable and fully appointed home away from home in central Dutchess County - near Millbrook Village, PV, Rhinebeck. Two bedrooms - each with large, mirrored built in closets. Third is setup as an office, master dressing room - can setup for a crib or air mattress. Two full bathrooms each with bath and shower. High quality linens, towels, personal, kitchen and other supplies provided. The bright, large kitchen has an open layout and ample counter space. Fully equipped and stocked - complete with appliances, cooking utensils and necessities. 6 person dining room - perfect for family meals and entertaining. Large and comfortable living area and tv room with 1 large sofa, armchair, bench, flatscreen TV. The master bedroom features a Queen sized bed, mirrored in wall closet with hanging and shelf space, nightstand, chair. The second junior bedroom has a comfortable full bed, bookshelf & desk unit, mirrored built in closet with hanging and drawer space, (as well as a bench and shelving). The home office is setup with desk, shelving, storage - as well as serving as a full dressing room for the master bedroom. It has its own entrance to the living room, as well as double doors leading to the master bedroom and a window looking out at the trees. The home is setup to sleep 3 guests, with the ability to add a 4th. We made the decision to host a maximum of 4 guests. Entrance to the house features a heated mudroom with bench - for preparing and returning from adventures outdoors. Enclosed back porch opens to an outdoor patio area with BBQ and sitting area, with a second outdoor dining area sheltered by trees as well as a hammock. The House sits on approximately 1 acre of land surrounded by forest, room for outdoor activities with recreational and sports equipment available ( BBQ, soccer, etc). There are multiple trails and parks nearby for hiking and various outdoor activities. Freedom Park is a 2 mile drive and is available for guests. It features a lake, swimming pools, a playground, sand volleyball, basketball, baseball, as well as holding seasonal concerts and events. Guest access The entire home and property. Fresh towels, linens, cooking equipment and supplies as well as coffee, tea and breakfast foods, shampoo and bathroom supplies. Other things to note The home has high speed wi-fi, but spotty cell reception. There is a home phone available for use as necessary.
