Your family & friends will be glad you chose our home for your HOLIDAY GET AWAY 😊 We are centrally located to Historical Jamestown, Yorktown, & Colonial Williamsburg. We’re just minutes away from the Williamsburg Winery, Golf Courses, Busch Gardens, & Water Country. There is also a small airport around the corner that has a Restaurant called Charlie’s. You can set out on the patio, eat good food, & watch the airplanes land & take off. They even have a playground for little ones. ENJOY!!! The space WELCOME to our Traditional Southern style home with touches of Cottage Charm along with modern conveniences. - Our spacious COVERED FRONT PORCH beckons you to stop & sit for awhile. Whether you are enjoying the swaying of the porch swing, sitting & visiting in the wicker sette, or having something to eat at our Farm Table that seats 12 you’re sure to enjoy our front porch. We have numerous other outside areas to explore & enjoy while you’re visiting our home. Choose from playing Horseshoes, life size Jenga, getting cozy by the Fire-pit with a fluffy throw, or making yummy S’mores with family & friends. You can even sneak away for a nap on the back covered reading porch. - FOYER opening to a FAMILY ROOM with TV, Gas Fireplace, & an area to play board games or just visit with family & friends. - KITCHEN has a table for 4 & everything a cook needs along with a spacious island that’s perfect for setting up a buffet for large families. - DINING ROOM that seats 12 & connects to the kitchen. - BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS include everything needed for a comfy stay. All linens, towels, extra pillows, blankets, luggage racks, clocks, blow dryers, everyday essentials, & a few “SURPRISES.” - The LAUNDRY ROOM has a full size washer & dryer. The wrinkle free selection helps get wrinkles out of packed clothing. Laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, & dryer balls are provided for your convenience. This area also has a full size wash tub sink, plus an iron & ironing board. PLEASE feel free to look through the cabinets & drawers incase you need a flashlight, a vase to put flowers in, or any other miscellaneous items. The PANTRY is located off of the laundry room. Feel free to explore so you’ll know what small appliances & other items you may use if needed when your cooking. - UPSTAIRS is an added bonus room for watching TV, working at a large desk, playing games, or just taking a nap. - UPSTAIRS BEDROOM & BATH is private plus has a separate entrance to bathroom. My favorite bedroom & bathroom because the Antique bedroom furniture belonged to one set of Grandparent’s & the Clawfoot Tub was from my other Grandparent’s home & is over 100 years old. Did I mention my favorite color is PURPLE & this bedroom & bathroom are purple. - Our prayer is that you may come as strangers, but you will leave as FRIENDS. Guest access You’ll have private & full access to our 2 story home. There’s also a front yard, side yard, & back yard. The outside areas offer places to relax, visit with family & friends by the fire pit, plus enjoy numerous outdoor games & activities we have on the property. There is a small attached cottage that may be occupied at times. The main house & the cottage each have their own private parking areas, entrances, & private outdoor spaces. Other things to note We are a local, life long family to the area & are easily available anytime during your stay. So don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions about the area.
