Vikra is a fantastic place on Karmøy, and the property has a rare 'feelgood' atmosphere over it. We offer family-friendly and sustainable accommodation, free electric car charging, sunset in the Glass House and a small herb garden among many other things. Sheltered from the north wind, this is a gem on the west side of the island. The space The guest house is a newly built small oasis in amazing surroundings. The guest house is built in grindverk. Grindverk was formerly a common construction method for barns and boathouses. Vikravegen 45 is an island house on Karmøy's southwestern side. Short distance to amazing beaches, the summer town of Skudeneshavn and many other great sights. Vikravegen 45 is suitable for both adults who want the silence for a few days, the silence to enjoy a good book, enjoy the sea view and get impulses Vikravegen 45 is also suitable for an active family with children, as the property has many good outdoor spaces for children. Both playhouse, climbing frame and trampoline make the children enjoy their time here. There are also several "mountains" or knolls right on the other side of the road that are great as very short hiking destinations for the kids. It is also a short way down to Sandve harbor where you can fish for small crabs. We have the fishing gear! Remember to buy some fishing cakes.. :-) Guest access Guests will have the entire guest house to themselves, while the rest of the outdoor areas on the property are common areas. The glass house, or 'Oransjeriet' as it is also called, is available to guests at any time. Here you can enjoy great sunsets in warm surroundings or just read a good book. Climbing frame and furnished playhouse are available for the little ones. Trampoline is also available on the property, and it is of course available for anyone who wants to jump. Other things to note The guest house is basically intended for 4 people. Should there be a family with more than 2 children, we can arrange for an extra mattress.
