The accommodation tax rate is determined per person, per night, based on the room rate, as follows: • Under 20,000 JPY: 200 JPY • 20,000 JPY to under 50,000 JPY: 500 JPY • 50,000 JPY and over: 1,000 JPY The accommodation tax is not included in the lodging fee and must be paid separately at the front desk. The Kyoto City Accommodation Tax is a tax levied on guests staying in the city from October 1, 2018. The tax amounts are accurately stated based on official information from Kyoto City. The accommodation tax is levied separately from consumption tax and is not included in the lodging fee. Please pay the accommodation tax at check-in at the accommodation by cash or credit card. ▲ Luggage Storage ▲ We can store your luggage before check-in and after check-out (on the day only).
