The space WANIGI GUESTHOUSE - 3 Rental Units under one Roof. Wanigi means "our heart" in Garifuna. Garifuna is a language spoken by one of the two indigenous groups of Belize called the Garinagu, formerly known as the Black Caribs. We put "our heart" in offering three uniquely decorated, clean, freshly scented and spacious units for our guests. Our air conditioned bedrooms with a queen-sized bed, SMART TV and private bathroom with hot and cold shower are located to the back of the unit and gives access to the back veranda. The front portion of the unit is a combined space; the kitchenette is equipped with refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishes and cooking and eating utensils and the living room is equipped with a sofa bed, center table and accent chair. This leads to the beautifully tiled, front veranda. Our guests can enjoy a relaxing rest in our colorful, comfortable hammocks. The two lawn chairs with small coffee table placed between them on the veranda, makes for a perfect conversation setting whilst recharging or connecting your electronic device just behind the chair. The beachy look of the property with flowers arranged neatly throughout and ample parking monitored by security cameras is nothing less than inviting. The space is perfect for families or groups who just want to spend time with familiar faces; or, for individuals who simply want to relax and rejuvenate. One guest describes it as "awesome"; another said, we exceeded his expectations. We say because we put "our heart" in it. "You're at home!" The location is perfect; it is centrally located and in close proximity to the local market, bus terminal, water taxi terminal, air strip, downtown Punta Gorda and the breathtaking Caribbean Sea. Guest access There are only three units so if you are the only one on the property, you will have access to your individual unit and all exterior areas including the free parking area. If other guests are on the property, you will have access to all exterior areas but allowing your neighbors use of the space on the veranda in front of their unit. Normally guests socialize on the veranda with no issue. Other things to note Dear Valued Guest: Please note our Guesthouse has three separate, individual, comfortable and clean units under one roof. The price advertised is for one unit. Each unit consist of a bedroom with one queen sized bed or a double bed, a private bathroom with hot and cold shower, a/c, fan, Smart TV, iron and iron board, clothes stand with hangers and chest of drawers. The living room area of each unit comprised a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, small stove, microwave, coffee pot, dishes, pots, cutleries. There is a sofa bed or futon in the living room space with center table and chairs. One unit has a dining table and chairs and the other two have islands to eat around or prepare food. The property has free Wifi, private parking, hammocks and security cameras to conduct surviellance of the yard only. Washer and dryer services can be made available for a small fee of US $ 6 per wash/dry. A barbeque grill is also available for guest use free of charge. Clean linen, soap, shampoo, etc. and complimentary water, tea bags, sugar and salt are in each unit. Occupancy for each room is 2; extra guest of age 13 and older pays an additional US $10.00.
