The Venus Room at Glendower Homestead

The Venus room is a private suite, in our heritage listed home 'Glendower'. Our 25 acre paradise is located right in the middle of the Wairarapa. 12 mins drive south will put you in the centre of the thriving wine village of Martinborough. Our guest suite has it's own entrance with a comfy super king bed and own bathroom with shower and bath. Explore the gardens, read your book in the hammocks or star watch on the deck. The owners live on the other side of the house, with their 2 dogs. Other things to note We are in the country, and some distance from any towns - Martinborough is our closest town - 12kms to the town square (12 minutes easy drive). Greytown, Masterton and Featherston are all about 25mins drive away, And Carterton is about 15mins drive. If you would like to do wineries without the worry of driving, get in touch with us beforehand, we can arrange to bring two drivers and pick up you and your car.
