Stress-free vacation in beautiful nature with its own beach

Welcome to my simple but upgraded family cabin with its own long beach. Enjoy peace and quiet, bright summer evenings and freedom in nature in my childhood paradise. For active guests, I offer the use of a rowboat, canoe, paddle board and great fishing opportunities. There are also great hiking opportunities and many activities in the surrounding area and Evje with shops and Troll Aktiv is a short drive away. In winter, the ski slopes start a few hundred meters away and the snow-safe ski resort Høgås is 10 minutes away. The space This is a traditional Norwegian cottage without electricity and water, but with many smart solutions. The original cabin was built in 1964 and has been expanded with two large bedrooms and an outdoor toilet/storage room. It was upgraded in 2022 with new windows, a large terrace and a new roof. There is plenty of space inside and the plot is large and shielded from neighbors, and has its own long beach. The water is barely 10 meters away. The cabin has three spacious bedrooms with new and comfortable beds. Large master bedroom with 160 cm bed, bedroom number two has a family bunk with 120 cm bed down and 90 cm bed up, and bedroom number three has two single beds that can be put together and become a 160 cm bed. I also have a baby bed and extra mattresses if needed. All bedrooms have dressers and hangers for clothes. The kitchen is simple but well equipped, with a gas stove with oven. There is a spacious gas refrigerator in the hallway. The cabin is heated with wood but also has a gas stove. The toilet is connected to the cabin from the tram outside the entrance. There is a battery-powered summer shower outside the cabin. I have many board games, toys for children, drawing materials and beach toys. Fishing rods and hooks can be used freely, and it is not necessary to have a fishing permit in the lake as there are too many fish (many are small). Barbecue and fire pit are available, as well as a hammock. Rowboat, canoe and paddle board can be used at your own risk. A selection of life jackets in different sizes is available. I leave a fully charged charging station that can also be charged with a solar panel. All lamps are charged when you arrive and there are always extra propane tanks in the storage room. Guest access Guests have access to the entire place and can use the boat, canoe, paddle board, barbecue, fire pan, fishing rod and board games. The owner uses some drawers for his own clothes and an outdoor shed is closed off, but there are good storage options in all rooms. There are also various spices and oil, as well as sugar and flour that can be used by guests. All cleaning products and toilet paper/towels can be used freely. Other things to note Guests must bring towels and bed linen. There is a double duvet and many single duvets in the cabin. It is possible to rent bed linen and towels for NOK 150 per set. Must be pre-booked. Propane is included and a 15 kg bag of wood (or equivalent amount) per stay, more for longer stays in winter. Firewood can be purchased at Evje at Byggmax and YX, among others. I leave a large tank of drinking water and more can be picked up for free at Evje. The water in the lake can be used for everything else. Guests must clean up after themselves before leaving the cabin. A small fee of NOK 400 is added to cover gasoline as I always stop by and check the cabin to make sure that the cleaning is done properly, and to wash over if necessary.
