Hotel Live Jeonju Private Hotel Public Interest Jail
Description
Alive Jeonju Dokchae Hotel Gongik Jilok is a two-story red brick building with 110 years of history. It was a warehouse of a public interest prison (pawnshop) that lent money to the common people as collateral during the Japanese occupation, but after the liberation, it has been used as a general citizen's house as a Jeonju City Hall official. If you walk along the tall bamboo and ginkgo tree path, you will find the entrance to the private house. When you open the old iron door that has accumulated over the years, you can experience a space that has been hidden for a long time, like time travel. The lower floor has a living room with a fridge, microwave, projector, etc., and the upper floor has a Japanese tatami floor, a bedroom, a tea room, and a study.
