The space Charming! This small *semi-detached cottage is an enchanting sanctuary in North Norfolk enclosed by acres of woodland. Located back from the road down a private drive, where you are bathed in the sound of nature. The cottage is located less than 15 minutes drive from two beautiful sandy beaches in Cromer and Sheringham. The Holiday Cottage has been tastefully designed to provide super accommodation and is perfect for couples, walkers, dogs, cyclists, nature lovers, small families, or romantic getaways. For all length of stay, guests will receive, household sundries, linens, bath, and hand towels. Living space This beautiful property features an open-plan fully-equipped kitchen which includes a sink with drainer, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, cafetière, electric oven and hob with extractor fan, microwave oven, kettle and toaster. * note the photos show a washing machine, this has been replaced by a dishwasher. There is a small dining table with two chairs a large lantern window allows plenty of light throughout. The living area is a bright spacious setting which boasts a large Smart TV, ultra-fast broadband internet, comfy leather luxurious sofa & armchair , and has its own authentic, unique style. If you bring a dog, we ask that you leave the throws on the armchair and sofa to prevent dogs from scratching the leather. Bedroom Sleep Well, Rest Easy A spacious bedroom is complete with a king-size bed with two bedside tables and lamps and a freestanding wardrobe with hangers. Just off the bedroom is a lovely ensuite shower-room which features a beautiful walk-in shower, WC, hand wash basin, heated towel rail, wall-mounted mirror and shaving point. There is a hairdryer, compact table top ironing board and iron available to use. Outside Morning Brew With A View Guests can enjoy the private tranquil veranda and pour a glass of wine overlooking the flourishing countryside with only the birds and nature to interrupt. This is the ideal place for enjoying a morning coffee on the stylish rattan furniture with stunning views of the surrounding area, renowned for its natural beauty and spectacular scenic delight. Please note there is not a typical enclosed / fenced garden. The property is suitable for people with restricted walking ability and is wheelchair accessible. ** please note however that there is gravel outside and no footpath to the roadside. Things to do The cottage is just 10 minutes away from Sheringham town centre and features a variety of pubs, restaurants, and shops. Take the iconic North Norfolk Steam railway which has stunning scenic views and travels to the market town of Holt. Holt is fabulous for shopping, with many boutique-style shops, art galleries, and a beautiful country park which is made up of 100 acres of woodland. Walkers Acres and acres of woodland and footpaths from the end of the driveway. Explore the Felbrigg estate and lake teeming with wildlife. Walk all the way to Sheringham or explore the coastal paths. Our underfloor heating will help dry those damp shoes overnight ready for the next day’s exploring. Cyclists With direct access to miles of cycle routes and picturesque scenery, Aylmerton is perfect for amateurs or enthusiasts. Challenge yourself by cycling the busier, hillier routes, towards Runton or explore the flatter, quieter routes towards Sustead. Access to a lockable shed so your bicycles are stored out of the elements. Doggies Located on the doorstep of the Felbrigg Estate. Your dog will not get bored, with acres of walks to choose from. Even chase the waves at the nearby Sheringham beach. Dogs have all year access to certain areas of the beach so no need to be left out. Go shopping with your owners in the dog-friendly town of Holt and get some special tasty snacks from the independent pet boutiques. Other things to note ** Hot water Our hot water system runs from an eco-friendly air source heat pump, which heats a cylinder, the cylinder is shared with next door and is the biggest capacity available to us currently and is good for x2 maybe 3 decent showers in a row. If the system does run cold please allow 25-40 minutes max to refill & reheat, sometimes the system may detect a fault and automatically reset this again affects the hot water and at the same time will be required to fully reheat. ** Please note if you bring your dog, please use the covers provided for the leather sofa and armchair :) Please note there is not a typical style enclosed/fenced garden The charge rate for the EV charger is 40p per kwh. * Note that the pictures of the kitchen area show a washing machine; this has been changed to a dishwasher.
