At its heart lies the Thatched Cottage—a Grade II listed Welsh farmhouse, lovingly restored to honour its 400-year legacy. With its straw roof, yellow lime-washed walls, and roses by the door, this character-rich cottage is a storybook retreat. Inside, you'll discover original features, including a rare wall paintings uncovered during renovation, alongside the comfort of modern furnishings. It’s the perfect blend of rustic charm and cosy elegance. The cottage sleeps up to eight (maximum 6 adults) and is ideal for families, groups, and dog-friendly holidays. Downstairs features a spacious double room with antique bed, a farmhouse-style kitchen, and a cosy lounge with leather sofas, TV, and a glowing inglenook fireplace with wood-burning stove—with firewood provided to keep things snug. Extra can be bought from the Shed Shop. Upstairs, the wooden staircase leads to three charming bedrooms: a master king, a triple room with three singles, and a small single, all warmly decorated and full of countryside character. There is a bathroom & shower room, located downstairs. Guests staying at the cottage can explore Treberfedd’s organic farmland, with access to the games barn, play park, and optional indoor pizza oven hire for delicious wood-fired evenings. Yes - guests have full, exclusive use of the cottage, its garden, and outdoor amenities for the duration of their stay. How do we check in? The key will be waiting in the door upon arrival, offering smooth, contact-free check-in. Is the cottage dog-friendly? Absolutely! For an extra charge, well-behaved dogs are very welcome, making it a great base for countryside adventures with your four-legged friend. What’s the sleeping arrangement?
