Other things to note With City Council Resolution No. 60 of April 19, 2021, the Municipality of Cagliari introduced a tourist tax. The tax is effective July 1, 2021, and applies to each overnight stay of non-residents of the Municipality of Cagliari. In the case of consecutive overnight stays, the tax is paid for up to a maximum of five consecutive nights.
