Private Country Lodge with Stunning Views

On arrival at The Lodge, you will be welcomed by a complimentary bottle of wine and snacks to enjoy on your own private patio whilst admiring the perfect setting. Relax on the cushioned garden furniture, wrapped in a cosy blanket under the stars whilst stoking up the fire pit and enjoying some music from the Bluetooth speaker. The space The spacious living area is light and airy with bi-fold doors to allow the outside in. Lounge on the comfiest L shaped sofa and watch a film. The small but adequate kitchenette is hidden away behind the cedar doors and provides you with a kettle, toaster, microwave, air fryer and fridge. Please note that there is no oven or hob. Tea and coffee facilities will be supplied for your enjoyment. The cosy bedroom houses a double sized bed. High ceilings create a spacious feel in the bright and bijou bedroom. There is a lovely bathroom with Bluetooth mirror so you can play music whilst showering! Carefully selected hand wash and hand cream add a luxurious touch in the bathroom. The Lodge opens onto a large patio area where you can take in the sun all day long on the beautiful furniture. There is a 2 seater dining table and also two comfy chairs, so why not light the fire and chill under stars. The Lodge is set away from the main house however you might meet our very friendly animals if they are out in the garden. We have a calm and gentle golden doodle named Phoebe and an extremely friendly and inquisitive little dog called Paddy. Paddy does love the outdoors so if you are uncomfortable with dogs, although we’d love to welcome you, maybe this might not be the place for you. We look forward to hosting you! Guest access The lodge is set away from the main house allowing you complete privacy. There is allocated parking for up to 2 cars beside the lodge. A large paddock area lies to the side of the dwelling should you have a furry friend that requires exercise. All we ask is that you pick up after your dog and use the bin provided. The gate can be closed to secure your dog as you require as nobody else will use this driveway during your stay. Other things to note The lodge is located a stones throw from Wrightington Country Club and only 2 minutes drive from junction 27 of the M6. There are so many beautiful walks on the doorstep and a few pubs within 20 mins walk too. Just 30 mins drive away you can visit the coast. Southport and Formby are popular choices. If you fancy taking in a show or a day out shopping, the lodge sits equidistant between Manchester and Liverpool! Just 30 mins drive to either amazing cities! Self check-in is available but we are in hand if you should need anything!
