As of April 2025 we are again listed as a complete one-bedroom apartment with a king bed. Please note: The reviews from the period July 2024 - December 2024 were for this listing advertised as a studio with a sofa-bed due to a new floor rebuild of the bedroom. This listing has been live again from April 2025. [All reviews prior to July 2024 were for our listing as a one-bedroom apartment as it is listed now] The space The self-contained 'studio' has a light & airy feel with a modern kitchen space and breakfast bar. It is perfectly equipped for long/short breaks. It has modern comfortable furnishings and a smart TV, fast WiFi and a PS4 with a couple of games. It has a bright modern shower room with a relaxing rainfall shower. There is a small balcony-patio with garden table and chairs for use in favourable weather. At the apartment entrance, a utility area offers a washing machine and dryer, as well as an ironing board, iron and storage space. Both the entrance and walkway leading to it have helpful security sensor lighting. Parking We can usually provide 24hr digital parking permits. (The admin cost is £2.00 per permit). We can't absolutely guarantee permits as we have a limited number per month. The permits allow you to park in any of the bays on the road at any time and for any duration (including the five resident-only bays). We are very close to town so occasionally there will be a wait before spaces are free. (More parking information will be messaged after booking and requesting permits) 》Please read the House Rules and 'Additional Rules' before your booking 》Please be aware, the studio, balcony-patio, and walkways are completely non-smoking, non-vaping, and non-incense burning. Thank you Guest access Guests have a complete and sole use of the studio and patio. The walkway is shared with us so we can access our bin storage area. Other things to note Bicycles We are happy to host guests with bicycles. However, bikes are not allowed in the apartment. Bikes can be kept safely outside the apartment door, which is out of sight from public view. For extra safety, you could bring a bike lock, and we would recommend having bike covers in case of wet weather. I have always kept my bike in this area without issue. However, please note bikes are stored at the owner's risk. Water Emergency The main water stopcock to the whole house is in the apartment hallway. In the unlikely event of a water emergency, we will need to access the stopcock in the hallway.
