A light, spacious (5500 sq ft) Old Rectory recently renovated with all mod cons and comfort but some of the charming original features like the butler's bell (no room service though!). From Turweston, Brackley and its amenities can be accessed by a 10 min walk down the footpath. Silverstone Circuit: 10 mins/ 5 miles Stowe NT Gardens: 8 mins / 4 miles Bicester Village: 20 mins /10 miles The space The Old Rectory has: - all mod cons as recently renovated - light and large rooms over 3 floors - two staircases and two entrances for guests - a large garden with: generous terrace, a space for alfresco dining, BBQ, vegetable patch, adults' tree swing, junior swing/slide, trampoline, hammock, orchard trees, croquet lawn area. - free private parking with external CCTV cameras - comfortably sleeps 11 in beds but could sleep more using a sofa bed and additional mattresses. Ground floor: - Large entrance hall with log burner and main staircase. - Kitchen with island, table for 6 and all kitchen appliances. - Sun room, 6m x 14m, with roof lanterns. An extendable table seats up to 12/14 in a dining area and the other end has sofas for sitting. - Snug sitting room with a log burner fire and TV. - Lobby, downstairs WC, second staircase. - 2 x Studies - Games room with TV, gymnastic bars, toys and sofas (2 additional single mattresses could be placed in this room if required). - Utility with washer/dryer/sink/cleaning equipment. - Boot room and muddy door entrance! First floor: - Master bedroom (bedroom 1): super king bed in an enormous room with a lovely view over the garden and down to the river. - Master bedroom walk through dressing room with dressing tables. - Master bedroom Bathroom with double basins, oversized traditional bath and fabulously powerful separate shower. - Bedroom 2: super king bed, hanging space, chest of drawers, dressing table and ensuite shower room. - Bedroom 3: king size bed, hanging space, chest of drawers and a beautiful bathroom. - Bedroom 4: single bedroom which can share a bathroom with either bedroom 3 (Jack and Jill style) or share with bedrooms 5&6 on the second floor. - Large landing area with cupboard containing spare linen and towels. Second floor: - Bedroom 5: king size bed, hanging space, dressing table and is absolutely enormous! There is a queen size sofa bed in this room too if an additional bed is required. - Bedroom 6: two single beds, hanging space and dressing table area. It benefits from two dormer window with a fabulous view over the garden and down to the river. - A shared bathroom with a wonderfully powerful shower, loo and basin.
