Public transit very close - both MAX & bus lines. About 10 min drive (and 20 min on bus) from Downtown hot spots like Powell's Books and Voodoo Donuts. Very close to other busy hangouts like N Williams Ave, Interstate, N Killingsworth and NE Alberta Street. Shared living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry, 2 bathrooms, large front porch with lounge are, and shared backyard space with bistro table/chairs, BBQ and firepit. Other things to note Free on street (no time limit) parallel parking. It's a popular neighborhood - so sometimes on the weekends and evenings you might have to park a block or 2 away. Usually, though, parking on our block (sometimes right in front of house) is available. Portland's tap water is great! Don't hesitate to drink it if you're visiting from out of the area. It's spring water from Bull Mountain Run straight to our tap! Please pay attention to garbage and recycling materials in kitchen, as Portland has some specifics you may not be familiar with in your hometown.
