Private Cabin in the Woods

Cabin is private in the country but located 6 miles from the town of Dardanelle, 42 miles to Mount Magazine State Park, 5 miles from Nebo State Park and 28 miles to Petit Jean State Park, Arkansas River and Lake Dardanelle. Closest boat dock is about 3 miles. Mount Nebo has hiking and Mountain Bike Trails, Magazine and Petit Jean Mountains has miles of hiking trails. Our cabin is private but not remote! Our outdoor patio area allows you to grill or use fire pit in complete privacy. The space This unit is small but has full size kitchen and everything needed for a short or long stay. We keep the kitchen stocked with we think more than the essentials. Cooking oils, olive oil, seasoning of all kinds, flour and sugar. We keep K-cup coffee and creamer on hand as well as tea bags. We keep Smore making supplies incase you get a chance to use the fire pit in the outdoor area. There is always firewood available for the fire pit so no need to purchase when you get here. We have a gas grill ready to go if you choose to grill. This is a single bedroom unit with a queen size bed and 50” television. The bathroom comes with a tiled shower. We keep plenty of towels and wash cloths for your stay along with first aid supplies, blow dryer, soap, shampoo, conditioner, spare toothbrush and paste in case you forget to pack something. The refrigerator is side by side with ice and water in the door. It will be stocked with basic condiments for your use. The living room is very basic but we think is comfortable. A single couch (hide a bed) with another 50” tv. We keep local touristy info from our local parks and business’s please feel to take anything you need. We keep a few board games in the TV stand. We don’t have cable but we do have WIFI for any of your entertainment or work needs. There is also a washer & dryer for your use along with detergent and fabric softener provided. Guest access We use a keyless system for access to our facility. I will message you the code prior to check in. We live locally but not at cabin. We do not normally come to the cabin when we have guest unless we are needed. Please do not hesitate to call anytime before or after you arrive. The cabin is on a 5-acre lot but we have a total of 30 acres. We have security cameras outside of cabin for but turn them off when guest arrive. Feel free to go into the woods but remember it’s the woods so expect to get ticks (we keep OFF spray in the house too) snakes are always a concern so use the woods at your risk. We have a very private outside patio area that is graveled with a firepit and 4 fantastic antique metal lawn chairs we restored just for your use. The front porch is small but it comes with two very comfy Adirondack chairs. It’s a great place to have your morning coffee or evening beverage and enjoy watching the wildlife at the deer feeder. The parking area is large with plenty of room for boat or utility trailers. I mean you have to be able to back up and stuff! Do it all the time with my truck and 16-foot utility trailer. We are good with early check ins but please ask first just so we don’t crowd the previous guest. We don’t rush you out at the end unless we have a guest coming in the same day. We really appreciate you not smoking in the cabin but outside is fine but please pick up your butts!
