Little Black Bear Cottage has everything you need for the perfect Muskoka getaway, including STARLINK INTERNET! Doe Lake is a small quiet spring-fed lake with no public access so traffic is limited to lake residents, perfect for swimming and enjoying water sports. We have all the toys you need to enjoy the lake - canoe, kayak, pedal boat, Stand-Up Paddle Board, 2 boogie boards. And a great fire pit for cozy nights. The cottage is renovated with all the comforts of home. The space Doe Lake is a small spring-fed lake, used only by its residents, with no public access. It is a quiet lake, warm in summer months, a great swimming lake and excellent for enjoying water sports and fishing. Little Black Bear Cottage is a very accessible cottage property - mostly flat terrain and you can drive right up to the front door. There is a rocky shoreline and small sandy beach. Outside there is a great large fire pit overlooking the lake, and a dock for swimming, fishing, and enjoying sunsets. The deck is great for BBQing and lounging, and enjoying the quiet and the pristine view. The property is great for families of all ages. The cottage itself has been renovated and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Full kitchen has modern appliances including a dishwasher and microwave. With 2 bedrooms (queen and double) and 1 bathroom, the cottage is great for families. Living room couch converts to a double bed and a single futon in the Muskoka Room provide extra sleeping space. The Muskoka Room is great for enjoying the nature views from indoors, or playing games on rainy days and evenings. It also has a dedicated workspace set-up where you can plug in your laptop and get some work done during your stay. Note the bunkie and garage are not included in the rental - they are used as storage for the owners. Guest access Lots of parking available. All guests will be provided with a code for the front door for self-check in and check out. July 1 to August 20th: The cottage is available for 1 or 2 week stays, check in and check out on SATURDAYS only.
